Hello,
My name is Alexia Burns. I am proud to say that my husband and I have a passion for service to the environment and our community. We have worked in the waste diversion industry since 2005. Together and combining our knowledge and skills we established CORRecycling, Inc.
The acronym CORR in CORRecycling stands for Colorado Reuse and Recycling.

Grand Junction CORRecycling, Inc.
New technology’s Proverbial Digital Dust

CORRecycling is an electronic waste recycling, reuse repair, reuse-retail sales, data destruction, and environmental asset management company. E-waste recycling pickups are available from Denver, Colorado to Salt Lake City, Utah.
My team and I follow all Data Destruction standards that are compliant with HIPAA and health care requirements including ITAD (Information Technology Asset Disposition) and ITAM (Information Technology Asset Management) compliance for hospitals, healthcare, banking, manufacturing, and small local business.
Whether business, corporate, nonprofit, or financed…events are our specialty. We handle all the details which include event promotions and setups, material collections, payments, removal, recycling, data security, and data destruction. As a team, we facilitate as an annual and biannual e-waste recycling vendor for cities and towns throughout the Western Slope of Colorado in there Spring and Autumn Waste Diversion Events.

CORRecycling as a team is passionate about volunteer projects that are committed to community, environmental, and educational stewardship. I incentivize my employees to volunteer by paying for volunteer hours given. My team and I annually volunteer as environmental educators at our local Earth Day and America’s Recycle Day community events. Last year we also offered our services for free to the Mesa County Bureau of Land Management, in the solid and electronic waste cleanup of the BLM’s historic Roller Dam. The CORR team has been involved in local community fundraising as well as funding local projects. Last year we also partnered with local businesses to place flags on every Veteran’s headstone at the Orchard Mesa Veteran’s Cemetery on Veteran’s Day. We aspire in the future to partner with Mesa County’s BLM and Friend’s of Mustangs to start cleaning up squatter zones and dumpsites on wild Mustang Land.

ITAD is a big part of the business services offered at CORRecycling, Inc.

I would like to express that CORR’s commodities are followed through tier vendor audits to ensure that our commodities return to manufacturers within the United States and are sent through those tiers only to R2 or e-Steward certified vendors.
I am also proud to say that I and my business are an Equal Opportunity Employer. I have and have had employees of all races, ethnicity, sexual orientation-including LGBTQ+, religious, educational backgrounds, disabled-including part-time SSDI, disabled Veterans, National Guard, and parolees. I believe in promoting from within and hold a standard of practice through my QEHSMS (Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management System) which includes health & safety training, operational training, and environmental stewardship education for all employees.

Formerly located in Fruita Colorado CORRecycling, Inc. outgrew its facility in less than a year. CEO Alexia Burns believes that Electronics Recycling is “a great option for keeping older electronics in circulation and out of the landfill.”. As the Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety Director Mrs. Burns from 2012-14, successfully certified her employer’s company in R2 2008, ISO 14001, and RIOS (recycling company certification standards). As CORRecycling, Inc. worked toward certification in that new facility in South Grand Junction, a new larger facility was needed. Now located at 3199 D Rd. Building C Grand Junction, Co 81504 Correcycling, Inc. continues to grow to serve the Grand Junction, Appleton, Redlands, Clifton, Fruita, Palisade, Rifle, Colorado, and Moab Utah market.
